What is storytelling?

We refer to storytelling as the face to face, live sharing of stories, without reading from a book or script. These stories can be of many types, for example anecdotes, or original stories, but they are often folk tales, sometimes of local or Scottish origin, sometimes from all over the world. The Scottish traveller saying of "eye to eye, mind to mind, and heart to heart" is the core of what we do and believe.

Although we are a group that meets up to share stories, we also run group events, and many of us individually are storytellers in our own right. We can offer a range of storytelling styles, stories and crafts.
